Dr. (Mrs.) Ameeta Datar is an Ophthalmic Surgeon by training. She did her high school education in Pune, after which she completed her medical education from the Medical College, Baroda. She completed her Master's in Ophthalmic Surgery from the J.J. Hospital in Mumbai in 1973.

 

She has worked as an honorary Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Talegaon General Hospital for many years. Ameeta is married and has a son and a daughter.
